Rocket Man, Inc. sells food and beverages through walking vendors in more than 20 major sports and entertainment venues across the United States. Our clients include NFL stadiums, racetracks, major league ballparks, NBA Arenas, and Outdoor Music Centers.

Our workforce, comprised of 1,500 professional "hawkers", have appeared at the World Series, Super Bowl, NBA Finals, Ryder Cup, Kentucky Derby, NCAA Final Four, and NASCAR Sprint Cup Races.

Independent Contractor Status

Event workers are classified as "Independent Contractors" and are not employees of Rocket Man, Inc.

Each worker is responsible for payment of all income taxes related to compensation received for services performed.

Job Descriptions

We offer the following positions for Rocket Man staff members;

Cashier
The Cashier "sells" tokens to walking vendors, makes change, keeps track of each vendor’s sales, and completes a few reports at the conclusion of each event. This position requires above average money handling skills, an ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining 100% accuracy, and excellent interpersonal skills.

Checker
The Checker collects a token from the walking vendor in exchange for a case of product (beer, soda, etc.). This position requires excellent physical condition, and abilities to work at a fast pace and concentrate for several hours, count inventory, and supervise Loaders.

Loader
The loader performs a variety of tasks, including carrying bags of ice or cases of beer, hauling garbage, and mopping floors. This position requires excellent physical condition, positive attitude, and ability to follow directions.
