Alcohol Sales Training

Walking vendors will be required to complete a formal training program for servers of alcoholic beverages. The program will include guidelines for checking IDs and monitoring patron consumption to ensure compliance with laws.

 

Selling Alcohol To Minors

The Walking Vendor understands that selling alcoholic beverages to a minor will result in his/her immediate dismissal without pay and the vendor may be subject to criminal prosecution.

 

Compliance With Rules

Prior to each event, the Walking Vendor will receive a copy of the rules pertaining to the facility and agrees to comply with them.

The Walking Vendor understands that violating any law or rule may result in his/her immediate suspension or dismissal.

Independent Contractors

Walking vendors are classified as "Independent Contractors" and are not "Employees" of Rocket Man, Inc.

 

Income Taxes

Each Walking Vendor is responsible for payment of all income taxes related to sales commissions, tips, and incentive bonuses received for services performed.

If a Vendor’s total compensation from Rocket Man during a calendar year exceeds $600, he will receive a 1099-Misc. Income Form to be filed with the IRS.

 

Uniform & Behavior

The Walking Vendor agrees to wear the appropriate uniform and conduct him/herself in a professional manner.

The Walking Vendor will refrain from any conduct that may adversely affect the reputation of Rocket Man or the facility.

 

No Show Policy

If a Walking Vendor fails to show up to work for an event, he or she will be suspended. If the problem persists, the Walking Vendor may be terminated.

Direct Deposit

The Vendor’s sales commissions and any bonuses will be paid through Direct Deposit into a bank account or VISA Debit Card, according to the following schedule:

Pay Day
6th and 20th
9am on the 30th.
21st and 5th
9am on the 15th.

 

Tipping Policy

Each Walking Vendor is asked to donate a minimum gratuity of $1.00 for each case of beer that they sell to be shared by staff in his commissary.

The purpose of this policy is to ease confusion regarding who to tip, when to tip, and how to tip.

The policy ultimately helps you, the walking vendor, by motivating the staff to work hard on your behalf.
